Beth Magill
Missioner
The Rev. Beth Magill was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. Beth graduated from The College of William & Mary in Virginia in 2006 with a BA in Sociology. She received her Masters in Divinity from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale in 2009. Prior to accepting a call to serve at the Student Center, Beth was associate priest for youth ministries at St. David’s Episcopal Church in Austin, TX. Beth began her ministry at the Episcopal Student Center in March of 2011.
Hadyn Standish
Program Coordinator

Hadyn was born in Houston, Texas, but quickly thereafter moved to the very small town of Liberty (population 8,323 – yes, there are stoplights). She first came to the student center as a freshman at the University of Texas in the fall of 2005. Hadyn graduated from UT August 2009. She
is currently attending nursing school at Concordia University. For her, the student center has truly been a second family while in Austin. She is particularly grateful for the enthusiastic, welcoming, and spirit-filled community. Hadyn has loved every minute of her time here, and is excited about this upcoming year.
Aaron Hudson
Seminarian
Aaron is joining the Student Center community as a seminarian from Seminary of the Southwest here in Austin. As a seminarian, Aaron is pursuing a graduate degree in divinity and is engaged in formation to prepare for priesthood. He is a postulant for Holy Orders in the Diocese of Iowa, where he was born, raised, and spent his entire life going to school and working before coming to seminary. Prior to moving to Austin, Aaron worked in mental health and substance abuse treatment for 10 years as a board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse and substance abuse counselor. His last job in this field was supervising a 45-bed treatment center for persons with psychiatric and substance abuse issues, as well as teaching undergraduate-level psychiatric nursing. He is excited to be join the Student Center community and to learn and grow with students in their life in Christ. You will frequently see him followed by a Golden Retriever named Clara, a professional therapy dog who will have her own ministry in the community!
Austin Jorn
Student Relations Coordinator
Austin Jorn hails from Harlingen, Texas. He considers himself a connoisseur of fine cheeses and has dabbled in bull fighting. He currently serves the Student Center as Student Relations Coordinator, a job he juggles along with attending school, going to musical festivals, and being a professional Easter egg hunter. Ole!
