The Rev. Miles Brandon II, Missioner
I was born and raised in H-town (otherwise known as Houston). There I grew up at St. John the Divine Episcopal Church and attended St. John's School. After graduating from St. John's, I attended the University of Texas where I received a BA in English. Following the University, I worked as the Youth Minister at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Houston for three years. After three years of full time youth work (and that is a lot of youth!), I entered the Virginia Theological Seminary from which I graduated in May of 2002. My prayerful hope and desire is that the Episcopal Student Center at UT will continue to be a place were students can come with real questions and a reasonable faith to explore the transforming Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is my belief that the college experience on the whole is enriched by continuing to explore our faith and allow it to be a conversation partner with all the other opportunities and relationships we have during those years. I hope you will consider being a part of us.
