Join a group of college students to learn and grow spiritually and personally by committing to showing up, being seen, and living brave.
This group will be more than a book club reading Brené’s books together. Each session will use The Daring WayTM curriculum, a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown that integrates the material from each of her books. During the process we explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. We examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding us back and we identify the new choices and practices that will move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, and lead. Further information is available at www.thedaringway.com.
The Rev. Beth Magill and the Rev. Stacy Williams-Duncan, Certified Daring WayTM Facilitator-Candidates, will lead the retreat. The Rev. Beth Magill will lead the weekly group.
